What made you want to join DUWP Productions?
Be honest now. I want to know why you guys applied for this group.
To start with, DUWP-Productions wasn't really famous and had just restarted to become active again.
And me, doesn't really have that much exposure like Endling, Rikyo or Bleed-man. Rather than being famous, I'm am rather infamous.
And I'm not really good as the ones mentioned above.
So, what made you apply and join DUWP-Prod?

Why oh why.
Why I joined?
1. Well, I've never been in a collaborative manga effort before.
2. I thought it was something I could possibly be good at.
3. Also because I have my own dreams of manga production and I think this will definitely teach me a lot.
4. The fact that DUWP was open to international artists, which meant a large number of artistic influences and experiences.
5. Because I need to channel my efforts. Recently I've been getting lazy/unproductive, but having to work with others, on deadline, will give me a lot of incentive.
6. It was easy to apply. Unlike a lot of great artists, Ryuuen didn't act elitist or exclusive - he opened the opportunity for everyone interested. It's great to have been given the chance.
Probably more, I can't think right now.

Why...?
It looks really cool, and fun. Plus you get to meet (not really but whatever) and work with people from all around the world. Also, it is a great experience to be in a group production team~
Even if you're not that great as endling or bleedman, i'm pretty sure you can improve. We all can.

The reasons
Well... There where a lot of them, but I'm no good at doing lists, so I guess I'll start off by trying to explain.
I stumbled upon Ryuuen's DUWP production page on DA some time ago and went "OMG" almost instantly. Fell in love with the style, so to speak. When the opportunity to be able to work with other people as talented as Ryuuen showed up in that journal entry, I decided "well, I might be able to contribute with something. My drawings aren't the best, but I'm good at writing." And so, I wrote a trial entry for the Script Writer and Story Contributor ... and I made it in!
Ahh! Reasons it was...
1. I liked the idea to work with "professional" people that aren't really yet, and get the opportunity to learn without being afraid of getting fired.
2. I wanted to try how a serious comic making works, with deadlines and such.
3. I haven't done anything creative together with anyone for a long time, and missed the team work!
4. I'm interested in learning technices and such for both story telling and drawing.
5. I wanted to contribute with ideas and concepts I can't really carry out myself in my own drawings.
6. As everyone else have said, it's always interesting to meet other people from all across the globe and get in touch with other cultures and ideas! I hope me and my Swedish culture can contribute with something. ^^
7. I felt welcome! The application was easy and I didn't really have to have any "earlier experiences" to apply!
8. It will be a good experience to carry with me if I one day decide to work as a professional.
9. I wanted to be part of creating something big! Cause I believe this can ROCK if we all just put down time and effort in it! From what I've seen, everyone seem to be good at what they do, and we can learn a lot from each other! I think we can create something unforgettable together, and grow both as persons and as artists in the process!
I can't come up with any more reasons right now, but there are still a lot of 'em.

I needed experience with people who are actually willing to follow through and have the talent and skill to back everything up. Also Ryuuen, you're a better artist than you give yourself credit for, just not an ext ream amount of exposure.

Didn't I tell you?
There's no such thing as too young or too old in this production. :3
As long as you're able to do the job, then that fine.

Re: What made you want to join DUWP Productions?
Ehh, well. Many of my reasons have already been said.
The main reason: I wanted to see how far I could take it working on a team and with deadlines.
The secondary reason: I wanted to improve my art and manga-making skills.
The other reason: SOUNDS FUN! xD
And working with an awesome group of artists doesn't hurt either. :3

Mmm... I want to create my own comic / story one day. I figured joining something like this would be awesome and a great experience to get a feeling for what the comicking industry and life would be like. Deadlines, working quickly and efficiently, etc... And working with an artist I look up to would probably push me to succeed more than if it was a random industry or production company I only had looked up to do what I stated above.
I also love editing 8D

What ryu is trying to say is that he's not above child labor.
